HYRIS bCUBE™ is an IVDR device compliant with European and North American standards, designed according to industrial quality and operational safety criteria. The instrument combines an extremely compact design with superior analytical performance, validated by international operators. Native connectivity to the proprietary HYRIS bAPP™ cloud portal enables complete real-time test management. Hyris provides customised cartridges that allow simultaneous analysis of 16 or 36 samples, ensuring high application flexibility.

Miniaturized Lab
HYRIS bCUBE™ combines the functionality of a molecular biology laboratory in a portable, lightweight and easily transportable format. Its miniaturised architecture allows qPCR analyses to be performed on the move, in small spaces and without complex infrastructure. How can I connect to HYRIS bCUBE™?

HYRIS bCUBE™ communicates via two main channels: Wi-Fi and Ethernet. An Ethernet connection is required for the initial configuration. HYRIS bCUBE™ can be controlled directly from a smartphone using the device's Mobile Hotspot feature.

What type of device can be used to control HYRIS bCUBE™?

HYRIS bCUBE™ can be controlled from any device with an internet connection, including desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Offline use is possible using the HYRIS bPANEL™ interface for Windows PCs.

Can I use HYRIS bCUBE™ anywhere in the world?

Absolutely! The supplied power supply works with both 110V and 220V, and the power cable can be easily replaced with one that is compatible with the standard in your destination country. What's more, you can monitor all your HYRIS bCUBEs™ in real time and control them remotely thanks to their connection to the Hyris bDATA™ service.

Can HYRIS bCUBE™ be used for laboratory/research purposes?

Yes. With Hyris HYRIS bAPP™, you can create custom protocols, run thermal cycles or isothermal protocols, perform high-resolution melting analysis, and scan all samples simultaneously. With HYRIS bCUBE™, even the most demanding biologist will be satisfied. In addition, HYRIS bCUBE™ offers the unique possibility to integrate automatic interpretation of results into its recipes, and biologists can publish their recipes/applications on the Hyris platform and make them available to all HYRIS bCUBE™ users worldwide, increasing their reach to potential customers.

Can HYRIS bCUBE™ perform thermal cycles?

Yes. HYRIS bCUBE™ can perform customised thermal cycling protocols, maximise ramp speed and perform real-time PCR analysis. In addition, its flexible thermal control algorithm can maintain a constant temperature profile, thus maximising stability and precision and delivering exceptional performance in isothermal amplification protocols.

Can HYRIS bCUBE™ perform fusion analysis?

Yes. HYRIS bCUBE™ is capable of very precise control of slow temperature ramps, and the resolution of its temperature sensor (< 0.05°C) allows for melt analysis with very high resolution.

Which fluorophores are compatible with HYRIS bCUBE™?

Currently, our standard model is compatible with FAM and HEX fluorophores (and all equivalents). Furthermore, thanks to the modular nature of its patented technology, it is possible to request a customised optical design to make HYRIS bCUBE™ compatible with virtually any type of fluorophore.

Can HYRIS bCUBE™ detect multiple wavelengths in a single analysis?

Yes. HYRIS bCUBE™ can scan all samples simultaneously for each of the installed wavelengths (FAM and HEX fluorophores for the standard model). This allows for analyses with multiple targets or with an internal control.
